SONA 2 Cruise Review by Libby

Posted by Bliss Team on

Wondering what new sex toy to buy? Unsure what to choose or what features you will like? We are here to help. All our sex toy advisors are women of all different ages and backgrounds who share their real experiences good bad and in between with a variety of sex toys from our quality range.

Today our guest writer is Liberty (she/her), a 28-year-old admin assistant here at Bliss. Liberty has written for us before and today she writes about the SONA 2 Cruise clitoral vibrator, by Lelo.

What does claims does LELO make about the SONA 2 Cruise sex toy?

The Lelo SONA 2 Cruise clitoral vibrator claims to stimulate every single part of the clitoris and yes, they claim it stimulates parts of the clitoris you can’t see. According to the Lelo website, the SONA 2 is different from vibrators you know because it uses "sonic waves and pulses to stimulate the entire clitoris" instead of vibrations. The SONA 2 Cruise comes with eight settings and a cruise setting so it has a setting for everyone. It is as sleek and simple design made with a single piece of silicone and it is waterproof.

Jodie West my boss her at Bliss offered for me to review this product and I just had to say a big YES PLEASE!

First impression of the SONA 2 Cruise?

Sleek packaging, I’ve seen it before but opening my very own LELO black box was special. It is modern, sleek and discreet. The toy comes with the charger, a sample of lube and a little black silk bag to hold everything. The toy itself felt solid and soft at the same time.

How much is the LELO SONA 2 Cruise? Is it worth the price tag?

RRP is $199 but we sell it for $189 right now and that price is even better given the current EOFY Sale.  It is in the higher bracket for a sex toy but I have to say it is oh so worth it.

Tell us what it was like using the SONA 2 Cruise?

The sonic vibrations were a new experience for me. I love clitoral stimulation but was really surprising. It is not so much of a suction it is more about providing strong vibrations on the surface of the clitoris/vulva.

The SONA 2 Cruise has "cruise control" patented technology, meaning even when the massager is pressed hard against your body, the power doesn't drop. It's guaranteed continuous pleasure no matter what position you're in. It is a completely automatic function and not actually a setting, so you don’t have to think about it in the moment it just does it. The orgasm it creates will not disappoint, I know for me it was transformative – longer and stronger than a toy has created for me before.

I was in such a good mood after the orgasm that even the concept of having to get through a cleaning to do list didn’t squash my mood. It was definitely a good mood creator for me. The second time I tried it I had a good long nap afterwards.

Sum up your experience with the SONA 2 in 3 words.

Blissful, Intense and easy-to-use. (Did you like what I did there boss?!?!)

Stars out of 5?

4/5. It circles around the clit without being overwhelming or too powerful.

Jodie West says this sex toy is best for people who …

Something hassle-free with a guaranteed orgasm. It's also perfect for people who prefer clitoral stimulation and not penetration.

It may be a little intense for those with sensitive clits. If you have pelvic pain the intensity may also be a question mark just because what triggers is different for different people.

Libby any final words?

Honestly if you like clitoral stimulation and you want to treat yourself they this is the toy for you.
