With boarders open and travel back on the agenda it’s a good time to talk about travel and taking your vibrator. Why wouldn’t you include your favourite vibrator when you travel, it helps with better sleep, better skin, and better quality of life, relaxation and so much more that will just take your holiday to the next level. Here are four tips from the Bliss Team for traveling with a vibrator.
Tip 1: Don't try to hide it.
It's best not to hide your sex toys to avoid anyone getting suspicious about the contents in your bag. Airport security is a thing, and they can see through all your things without opening your bag so it’s best to have it in a convenient place so they can get it out if they need to with the smallest of fuss. They can open it, swab it if necessary and move on without having to go through the rest of your things. Simply swab it, and if that’s what they were looking for they can shut your bag and move on minimising embarrassment.
Tip 2: Pack a travel-friendly vibrator.
Yes, there are many toys that come with a travel lock. Think small, compact, capable and has a travel lock when choosing which toy to take with you. Try something like Zumio S, it is small and compact and has a travel lock. Lelo, Fun Factory, Womanizer and Le Wand are just a couple of other brands in our range that have travel locks on their products.
Tip 3: Take measures to prevent it from going off.
If your vibrator has a travel lock, engage the travel lock to prevent it from going off in your bag. If your chosen vibrator or sex toy has removable batteries, take them out to avoid it going off in your bag. The last tip is wrap it in some clothing or something soft to provide padding (while keeping it accessible) it offers some protection from buttons accidently being pushed and if it does switch on it potentially won't be as loud.
Tip 4: No shame.
Sex toys and self-pleasure are nothing to be ashamed of. Confidence is key the more confidence you have, the easier it is to get through that moment should it happen. If it does happen remember it is one small moment in your life and your sexual wellness and pleasure is nothing to be ashamed of. It is an important part of your quality of life
